  1. I was so interested in buying ONE 2GB sodimm RAM… to upgrade mi ram from 1 gig to 3 gig….

    And I receive 2 1gig sodim…

Maybe it`s the way crucial work I don’t know… but they NEVER especified in their product that they were talking about 2×1GB SODIMMS instead of 1×2GB Ram…

I hope next time they could be more specific.

Well now i have 2 gigs on laptop and i had to sell the other extra memory…

The picture is wrong, and the main description is misleading.

When I called the vendor (not Amazon), I got a series automated messages telling me to send an e-mail, and to NOT bother the sales people.

Over the years I have had a series of very positive experiences with Amazon. I hope this is a fluke and not the start of a trend.

  3. 1g was already in my laptop. So I thought that 2g would make it run a little better. Wow was I wrong no difference, windows vista now says it needs 2 gigabits just 2 run properly. Still laging and they don’t make a 2g stick so I am screwed since my laptop only has 2 slots ! So DO NOT buy ram if you have vista and think it will help it will not!

  4. Steve Wiser says:

Yes I wanted a single 2gig piece and was confused and got two 1s. This is certainly not that clear unless you read every word of this listing.

The main picture should start with the two item image not the single.

    This is going back.

  5. It’s probably a great product, but BEWARE this is a 1GBx2 kit NOT a 2GBx1 kit as is implied by the listing and picture. Crucial’s website is more accurate, showing a photo of 2 pieces as well as listing the item as 1GBx2.

If, like me, you want a single (2GBx1) piece, DO NOT order this item.
