Unfortunately the power adapter that I purchased was defective. I waited quite a few days for it to arrive and when it did, it was defective and did not charge the netbook, so I had to return it and wait another few days to receive a refund. I was told that it is the type of product that doesn’t allow for a simple exchange. So I had to go elsewhere to buy another power charger, since I didn’t want to run the risk of receiving another defective one. I am still waiting to receive it in the mail!!

Solid construction and works as good and feels more reliable than the original. i am using it on an ASUS 1005.

Works like it should. No complaints. A good replacement if you lost your original or your cat chewed through it.

It plugs in tight by pushing until you feel the click. No problems what so ever there. It powers the computer. It does NOT charge my computers battery. As charging is vital I am returning.

Item arrived in 3 business days (ships from NYC). Asus-branded version is $58 on Amazon; as far as I can tell, this is exactly the same product for <$16. The plug is the identical to the one on the cord included with the computer so there is no ‘falling out’ problem as others have noted, and I can’t see any issue with cord length. I travel and this is just what I need to keep packed for when I’m on the road. Product is exactly as described and works fine with my HA1005.
